Hey there! I’m Anna.

As a life-long athlete, I’m dedicated to supporting the current and future generations of athletes with mindset tools and support to feel confident, calm, and in control.

MY BACKGROUND:

I’m a Certified Mental Performance Consultant® who guides youth, collegiate, Olympic, and professional athletes to step into their greatness by learning how to harness the power of their mind.

I specialize in mental performance coaching for indoor volleyball and beach volleyball players.

I have my master’s degree in sport psychology. I’ve coached at the NCAA Division 1 level and for the U.S. Army as a mental performance expert and resilience trainer.

MY COACHING PHILOSOPHY:

  • My approach to mental performance coaching is rooted in holistic sport psychology. I believe that who an athlete is outside of their sport impacts their identity as an athlete, and that developing the person behind the athlete can facilitate more authentic, optimal athletic performance. I approach each client first as a human, then as an athlete.

  • Each client’s thoughts, emotions, physiology, and behavior are interconnected, so the concepts, strategies, and skills we discuss throughout the coaching process reflect this mind-body-action connection.

GOOD TO KNOW:

All performers are welcome.

While the majority of my coaching clients are volleyball players, I also work with athletes who play a variety of other sports as well as with people in other high-performance occupations, such as dancers, musicians, artists, speakers, actors, and executives.

I am based in Portland, Oregon.

My home base is in the Pacific Northwest, and I see a limited number of clients in-person in the Portland metro area. The bulk of my work, however, is done virtually, so I can coach clients no matter their location or time zone.
